Established in Yorkshire for eight years, the Dealmakers Awards have flourished on the basis of one simple fact: the winning corporate financiers, bankers, lawyers and private equity specialists are all chosen and voted for by their colleagues and peers.
The Insider Dealmakers Awards will be held at The Saviles Hall at The Royal Armouries, Leeds on Thursday 27 November 2008 and will be compèred by Bill Turnbull.
The Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards recognise the outstanding contribution and achievements of the firms and individuals who have instigated the deals, negotiated the fine print and financed the companies who will shape the future of the region.
Voted for by the dealmaking community in the region, awards are made to the top corporate finance advisers, lawyers, lenders, private equity players and funds in the region, all battling it out for the prestigious overall title of Dealmaker of the Year. And the deal considered to be the most important transaction of the last 12 months is honoured with the Deal of the Year trophy.
